Project Overview
Chadix is an AI-powered SEO automation platform for agencies, digital businesses, and e-commerce teams. The old website felt cluttered, outdated, and hard to navigate—which led to high bounce rates and low engagement. I was asked to refresh the UI and improve usability while aligning the new design with Chadix’s modern, tech-forward brand.
Redesigned Chadix’s website to modernize its look, improve user experience, and align with their brand. Focused on a desktop-first approach under tight deadlines and with incomplete content.
My Role
Role: UI/UX Designer (Solo)
Team: 1 Designer (me), 2 Developers
Tools: Figma (Design), WordPress (Implementation QA)
Problem & Challenges
The main issues were visual clutter, poor information flow, and a lack of clear CTAs. Users couldn’t quickly understand what Chadix offered, and the site didn’t reflect the innovation behind the product. The challenge was to simplify the structure, make the message clear, and elevate the design without overcomplicating things.
Process
1. Project Brief & Goal Alignment
I aligned with the client to understand their main goals: reduce bounce rates and make the website feel more aligned with their product's innovation.
2. Competitor & Industry Research
I analyzed websites the client shared to identify common UX patterns, visual direction, and engagement strategies relevant to SaaS platforms.
3. High-Fidelity Designs
Due to tight deadlines, I skipped wireframes and went straight into designing high-fidelity mockups focused on clean layout, visual hierarchy, and strong CTAs.
4. Developer Collaboration
I worked closely with the WordPress devs to ensure design fidelity, responsiveness, and proper implementation of interaction behaviors.
Developer Feedback: The development team noted that the navigation was smooth and intuitive. They also mentioned that the design had a sleek, AI-inspired aesthetic, aligning well with Chadix’s positioning as a modern automation platform.
Design Solutions & Outcome
The final UI featured:
❋ A modular, modern layout with clear navigation
❋ Primary CTAs placed within 3 seconds of landing
❋ Clean visuals inspired by AI tech branding
Impact:
Even though the new site is still in staging, early testing with the dev team showed:
❋ 40% more engagement compared to the old version
❋ GTmetrix score: 98% performance (up from 97%)
❋ Cumulative Layout Shift dropped from 0.07 to 0.01
The client expressed strong satisfaction with the improved usability and refreshed visual direction.

Key Takeaways
❋ Clear, conversion-focused UI beats complexity—especially in B2B SaaS.
❋ Collaborating early with developers results in smoother handoffs and fewer post-launch issues.
❋ Small layout shifts can make a big difference in how a site feels and performs
