About me

Taking the Product Analytics course on Uxcel was a big part of my growth as a designer. I also joined the Skill Up Challenge and was lucky to win a $50 Amazon gift card, which made it even more rewarding. The course helped me better understand how to read user data, spot patterns, and use those insights to improve my designs. Since then, I’ve been more confident applying these skills in real projects and making more informed decisions.

I attended the UX+ Conference 2024, where I got to learn straight from industry leaders and seasoned UX pros. They shared their real-life journeys, how AI is changing the way we design, and tips on staying flexible in an industry that’s always evolving. The sessions sparked new ideas and helped me think more creatively, while the panels gave me a better grasp of team communication, collaboration, and where UX is headed.

It was a great mix of insights, stories, and hands-on advice. We also got freebies like a shirt, stickers, and a tote bag, and there was food too!

Our team earned an Honorable Mention Award for GKE Innovation: Good Health and Well-being with SkinCap — a mobile app we developed that uses object recognition to detect and identify different skin types and issues. The goal was to make skin care more accessible. We applied machine learning and image processing to create a solution that promotes better skin health and helps users take better care of their skin.

On my graduation day, I was honored to receive the Latin honor Cum Laude for my academic excellence. It was a rewarding moment that reflected the hard work, determination, and passion I put into my studies over the years. This achievement not only marks a significant milestone in my journey but also motivates me to continue pushing myself in the next chapter of my career. I’m excited for the opportunities ahead and eager to take on new challenges that will help me grow even further.

I’m proud to have been part of the team that placed 2nd in the UnionBank Cloud Ideathon Challenge as part of the UBPXcellerator Cloud Cadetship Program. It was a great opportunity to build my cloud skills, collaborate with talented people, and earn rewards like cloud certifications and a chance for an internship at UnionBank.

I was also recognized as part of the Top 10 in the Microsoft Skills Challenge for my exceptional performance.

Our team won Champion at the RI5E A Design and Development Competition for designing and building the For Our Farmers PH website. The platform supports sustainable projects for farmers and fisherfolks, helping to improve productivity in the agricultural sector. We were thrilled to receive an average score of 94.66%!

Our team was awarded 1st runner-up in a high-pressure, week-long web design and development competition where we built the official TechnoFest website. It was an intense challenge that tested not just our technical skills but also our teamwork, creativity, and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
